Description

DEMO WILL BE AVAILABLE IN OCTOBER 2024!

Robin in da Hood is a light and humorous take on the famous legend of Robin Hood. It is a 3D, top-down single player action-adventure game set in medieval England, inspired by Grand Theft Auto 2 and ‘Men in Tights’. The game approaches its subject matter from a light-hearted perspective, presenting the adventures of the famous British outlaw with a tongue-in-cheek twist and bucketloads of crazy humor. Historical accuracy and political correctness go straight out the window, being replaced with biting satire, pythonesque antics and slapstick comedy.

Robin in da Hood delivers over-the-top action, thrilling adventures and hilarious parody in an evergreen setting, all clad in a tried and tested gameplay format.

The key game pillars are:
Humor
From sarcastic dialogue, through distorted re-imagining of the classic characters, and all the way to various forms of skullduggery that the player can engage in, Robin in da Hood is as irreverent take on the famous legend as it can get. The game has no mercy in its treatment of the source material and goes to any lengths to scorn, deride, and jeer at the evergreen tale.

Freedom
Apart from main story missions, the game world allows for a wide variety of and additional activities that the player will be able to engage in. Fighting the guards, stealing horses, and all sorts of other interactions with the folk of Nottinghamshire will be possible, allowing the player to either act noble and stand against the oppressors of the poor, or to wreak havoc in the medieval hood and become the number one troublemaker in town.

Accessibility
Thanks to its accessible interface and familiar playstyle, Robin in da Hood can be enjoyed by anyone. The simple and streamlined tutorial will have new players jump into the adventure in no time, without the need to understand complex or challenging systems.

Compare in GDI Benchmark

What this shows: Follower count tracks ongoing community engagement over time. Unlike wishlists (which reflect purchase intent), followers indicate sustained interest and active monitoring. Rapid growth spikes often correlate with viral moments, major updates, or positive press coverage. For released games, continued follower growth suggests healthy long-term engagement, which supports DLC sales and live-service revenue. For unreleased games, steady upward trajectory indicates building hype. Compare the slope of this line to similar titles—steeper growth rates predict stronger commercial performance. Use the comparison feature to benchmark against up to 4 genre competitors simultaneously for comprehensive competitive analysis.

Robin In Da Hood - Followers History
Track follower growth over time

What this shows: Recent follower momentum across different time periods. Positive growth indicates increasing community interest and can signal upcoming catalysts like announcements, updates, or viral moments. Compare short-term (24h, 3D) vs long-term (14D, 30D) trends to identify acceleration or deceleration in community growth. Sudden spikes often precede or follow major news events.

Search Interest

What this shows: Google Search trends reveal public awareness and interest over time, independent of Steam metrics. Spikes indicate moments when the game captured mainstream attention—typically around announcements, trailers, beta releases, or launch day. Compare search interest to follower growth to gauge whether marketing efforts are reaching beyond the existing gaming community. For unreleased games, rising search volume suggests effective promotional campaigns. For released games, sustained search interest months after launch indicates lasting cultural relevance. Investors should note: viral search moments don't always translate to sales, but they do indicate brand awareness that could drive future DLC or sequel success. This data helps answer "Is anyone talking about this game outside of core gaming circles?"
